  • Our Marvelous Lives

  • Elisa Girlando

The Elisa Girlando Band (EGB) and Our Marvelous Lives (OML) return to Cornerstone Playhouse after their sold out, standing room only show back in March on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m.

The Elisa Girlando Band is known for their expressively distinctive vocalist, original songs and unique arrangements of classic rock and blues material. With Elisa Girlando on lead vocals and piano, this innovative ensemble also includes Phil Girlando on electric violin, electric guitar, and piano. Barry Rose on Electric Guitar and Acoustic guitar. Chris Paul on bass and Dave Bollard on djembe, and percussion.

Our Marvelous Lives (OML) is a North New Jersey based group that remains youthful and exuberant, even in middle age. A well-known part of the tristate area musical landscape, OML has been influenced by many musical styles. The group plays across the rock and alternative/singer songwriter genres, with a rock-n-roll story telling lyrical palate that layers guitar, drums, bass and keys, with vocal harmonies. They are neither ‘super heavy’, nor really ‘soft’, not heavy metal, and not ‘yacht rock’, OML just ‘fits right’ into a lot of musical places. The band features a polished and professional attitude garnered from years of playing semi-professionally, and really

enjoy what they do, and certainly enjoy getting an audience’s attention, and pulling them into an OML performance experience with Max Huber on guitars and vocals, Marc Ziccardi, drums, James Shargay, vocals and bass, and Mike Fury, vocals and keyboard player. OML will also be playing new songs from their upcoming CD.

This is your chance to see these two powerhouse bands but you are going to want to get your tickets now because they will sell out. Don’t get turned away at the door like so many did last March. Order your tickets today.

Cornerstone Playhouse is located at 74 Main Street, Sussex Borough.

All seats are general admission and are $15 each in advance, $17 at the door if there are any. You can purchase tickets online at or call 973 702-0687 for more information. Cornerstone Playhouse is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to presenting the Arts in the Greater Sussex County Area.
